Project description
Architecture concept design and urban planning for the Wuxi Youdu Village shopping lane.
The low-rise buildings form a relatively integrated unit, in terms of forms, materials, colors and provide a unique mix of showrooms, workplaces, and restaurants, in an exciting and enjoyable setting of alleys and courtyards, differentiating it from the surrounding high rise buildings, but also integrated into the surrounding park.
The architectural style adopted embraces the local spirit and reflect the details and language of the local architectural tradition of Jiangsu province.
The developer aims to recreate a whole-day city-center shopping experience in the town and position the project as a Major Retail Destination for interior decoration materials, home furniture, and accessories in Wuxi while maintaining the feel of a shops-lined side street.
One of the main focuses of the project is also to adopt standards to limit energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission.
